About EGH Judokan

EGH Judokan was formed in 1975 by Sensei Tom Owen, at East Glamorgan Hospital, hence EGH. Since then it has moved home several times but has retained it's original name.

What do you  need to do if you would like to try Judo?

Just come along at the times shown below ! The first lesson is free.

You don't need a Judo kit just wear loose-fitting trousers (e.g. track-suit or jogging bottoms) with no metallic accessories such as zips or 'popper studs'.  Girls, if you use a hair band please make sure it has no metal or plastic parts and hair grips are not permitted.

A non-fizzy drink is also recommended as drinks are not available at the club.
